Mindful Movement

Course: Mindful Movement

This course centres on befriending your body.
The gentle approach of Hatha yoga, known as mindful movement, is part of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme.

This is a four—or six-week introduction course delivered in 60-minute sessions. As we reconnect with the body, we will use compassion and kindness toward ourselves. These exercises can be done sitting, standing, or lying down.

  • Mindful movement refers to engaging in different exercises while focusing your attention on the movements of your body as well as your breathing.

It will inspire you to bring intention and awareness to every move you make and support you to focus on the quality of your movements and how they make you feel.

The sessions will empower you with basic stretches and mindful insight into how you take care of yourself and your body.

  • We are running the course for those suffering from long Covid.

It can also support those looking to lower stress and anxiety, enhance sleep and relaxation and even increase focus levels.

You don’t require anything to get started, simply show up and feel the benefits.

The body benefits from movement, the mind benefits from stillness.
